President Donald Trump is firing back at critics inside his own political movement after a wave of backlash erupted over his decision to authorize a sweeping U.S.–Israel military operation against Iran.
In a heated phone interview with journalist Rachael Bade of The Inner Circle, Trump dismissed accusations from some high-profile MAGA voices who claim the strikes betray the America First doctrine that powered his rise to the White House.
“I think that MAGA is Trump — MAGA’s not the other two,” Trump said, referring directly to Kelly and Carlson.
The former president made it clear he sees himself — not television personalities or online influencers — as the standard-bearer of the movement. According to Trump, the core mission of MAGA has always been about national survival and strength, not isolationism at any cost.
