New Leak: Sedition Evidence Changes Everything

The effort to bring criminal charges against a group of prominent Democratic lawmakers known as the so-called “Seditious Six” appears to have quietly fallen apart. According to a new report, the office of Washington, D.C., U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has opted not to pursue further legal action against Sen. Mark Kelly, Sen. Elissa Slotkin, and several House Democrats tied to the controversy.

The development was first reported by NBC News, which cited unnamed sources familiar with the matter. The report comes roughly ten days after a grand jury in Washington, D.C., declined to return indictments related to the case—an early and significant blow to prosecutors seeking to move forward.

Under federal law, Pirro’s office could have attempted to re-present the case to a second grand jury. However, according to the NBC report, prosecutors have declined to take that step. While it remains theoretically possible for charges to be brought in another jurisdiction, the network acknowledged that “there have been no public indications that will happen,” signaling that the case may now be effectively dead.

The controversy centers on a group of six Democratic lawmakers who appeared in a highly publicized political video released last November. In addition to Kelly and Slotkin, the group included Reps. Maggie Goodlander, Jason Crow, Chris Deluzio, and Chrissy Houlahan.
