Anthony Kazmierczak, 55, allegedly rushed the Democratic congresswoman while she addressed constituents on her controversial calls to abolish ICE. Witnesses say he sprayed a foul-smelling, amber-colored liquid from a syringe in her direction, creating a tense scene at the podium.
The incident unfolded as Omar spoke at a town hall in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District. Video footage shows a man dressed in a black jacket lunging toward her while discharging the unknown substance. Omar appeared startled but was not reported to have suffered any injuries.
