A Longtime Conservative Goal Becomes Reality

On Monday, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting announced that its board voted to dissolve the organization entirely after Congress eliminated all federal funding for NPR and PBS. The decision followed the passage of a sweeping rescissions package demanded by President Trump, stripping CPB of money already allocated through fiscal year 2027.
