NYT: “No Evidence” Against Trump

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“An examination of their history by The New York Times has found no evidence implicating Mr. Trump in Mr. Epstein’s abuse and trafficking of minors,” the article reads. That sentence alone dismantles a political talking point that has been repeated ad nauseam across cable news and social media.

Despite years of testimony and documentation pointing away from Trump, Democrats have continued to push the Epstein smear. The campaign intensified Thursday when party leaders circulated a batch of emails—most of them old, some newly unearthed—to suggest Trump and Epstein were close. The effort backfired almost immediately.

Incredibly, party operatives even promoted emails in which Epstein expressed contempt for Trump, apparently believing that the words of a convicted sex trafficker could somehow prove guilt. Last month, the Democratic Party’s official X account highlighted a February 8, 2017 email Epstein sent to former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, who served in the Clinton administration. In that message, Epstein fumed about Trump: “recall I’ve told you… I have met some very bad people… none as bad as Trump. not one decent cell in his body… so yes– dangerous,” he wrote.

Democrats seized on the quote anyway. “Newly released emails show Jeffrey Epstein thought Trump was one of the worst people he knew, with ‘not one decent cell in his body,’” the party boasted online. “He went on to describe Trump with one word: ‘Dangerous.’” The post was swiftly mocked, with users pointing out that the message directly contradicts the claim of a close friendship.

The contradiction didn’t stop there. On July 18, the Democratic Party released a video asserting Trump had a “close” relationship with Epstein and even alleging a “secret friendship.” Critics noted the obvious problem: the party was simultaneously citing evidence that Epstein despised Trump.

Democrats also redacted the name of a prominent Epstein accuser to insinuate Trump’s involvement. That accuser was the late Virginia Giuffre, who testified under oath that Trump had no involvement in Epstein’s crimes. Giuffre later expressed support for Trump’s 2024 campaign and praised his efforts to hold Epstein accountable—details rarely mentioned by the media.

Adding to the hypocrisy, Epstein was shown to have actively “coached” U.S. Delegate Stacey Plaskett of the Virgin Islands ahead of a 2019 congressional hearing connected to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Epstein advised Plaskett on how to best attack Trump immediately before her questioning, raising serious questions about who was truly aligned with the predator.

What the Times story also cannot erase is the fact that Epstein was banned from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago after inappropriate conduct involving a minor staffer in the early 2000s. Even Epstein’s longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell has stated that the president was in no way involved in the crimes.

For all the media noise and partisan spin, the facts remain stubbornly clear. Even the nation’s most influential newspaper was forced to concede it: there is no evidence tying Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein’s atrocities—no matter how hard Democrats try to suggest otherwise.
