Davidson County’s General Sessions Court has erupted into full-blown damage control after Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) exposed their disastrous handling of a violent repeat offender — a migrant repeatedly released back onto Nashville streets until he finally carried out one of the city’s most horrific crimes. Instead of confronting their own failures or offering remorse to the victim’s family, the judges are now portraying themselves as the ones under attack.
Rather than acknowledge the deadly results of their soft-on-crime ideology, the judges are attempting to shift blame onto Ogles, demanding beefed-up security and insisting that the real problem is criticism — not the brutal rape and death of an innocent woman allowed to happen on their watch.
Their outrage stems from Ogles warning the public that “we are at war” with radical left officials whose policies protect criminals instead of communities. Instead of reflecting on the tragedy their decisions enabled, the court immediately moved to cast themselves as endangered victims.
On December 5, Ogles posted photos and names of several General Sessions Court judges on both Facebook and X, making clear who had been responsible for repeatedly letting a dangerous offender slip back into the public. The case he spotlighted involves Mohamed Mohamed, who was arrested in August for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in Nashville’s Woodbine area — a crime that shocked even seasoned law enforcement officials.
