Omar’s Scandal: Tapper Just Exposed THIS!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Rather than condemn the criminals who siphoned off staggering amounts of taxpayer money, Omar pointed her finger at the federal government. But her excuse crumbles fast. Dozens of states ran the exact same relief programs — without the historic levels of fraud that exploded in Minnesota on her watch.

A Fraud Web That Exposed Massive Failures

The epicenter of the scandal involves the nonprofit Feeding Our Future, now infamous for turning a children’s nutrition program into a personal ATM for fraudsters. Federal prosecutors have charged 78 individuals linked to a scheme that drained more than $250 million from funds meant to feed low-income kids during the pandemic.

The accused claimed they were providing thousands of meals per day. Prosecutors say they were instead stockpiling luxury properties, foreign real estate, high-end vehicles, and designer shopping sprees.

One convicted participant, Salim Ahmed Said, even funded a $2 million Minneapolis mansion and a staggering $9,000-per-month Nordstrom shopping binge. Said wasn’t a stranger to Omar’s political world, either — he co-owned Safari Restaurant, the venue for her 2018 victory celebration, and acted as an “enforcer” in Somali community turnout efforts for her campaigns.

When state officials noticed suspicious activity, Feeding Our Future responded by claiming racial discrimination, a legal maneuver that Minnesota’s own Office of the Legislative Auditor later confirmed had a “chilling effect” on oversight. Investigators backed off. Fraudsters moved in. Taxpayers paid the price.

The Trump Administration Responds — And Drops Hammer After Hammer

This week, President Trump didn’t mince words as he addressed the scandal directly from the Oval Office.

“These Somalians have taken billions of dollars out of our country,” Trump said. “They have a representative, Ilhan Omar, who they say married her brother. She should be thrown the hell out of our country. And most of those people, they have destroyed Minnesota. She should not be — and her friend shouldn’t be allowed — frankly, they shouldn’t even be allowed to be Congress people, okay? They shouldn’t even be allowed to be Congress people, because they don’t represent the interests of our country.”

Almost immediately afterward, the Small Business Administration announced a sweeping probe into Somali-linked organizations that secured both state funds and federal PPP loans tied to the Minnesota fraud ring.

“Numerous individuals and nonprofits indicted in the $1 billion Minnesota COVID fraud scandal, including Feeding Our Future, received SBA PPP loans in addition to other state and federal funding,” SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler confirmed.

Federal action didn’t stop there. ICE is preparing an aggressive enforcement operation in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region targeting individuals with outstanding deportation orders. The Treasury Department is also digging into whether stolen Minnesota welfare funds were funneled to al-Shabaab, the Somali terrorist group.

Omar’s Excuse Reveals the Real Problem

Democrats created massive emergency programs, unleashed billions into the system, then cried racism when anyone dared question where the money was actually going. The result was predictable. Criminal networks thrived. Children who genuinely needed help didn’t get fed. And Minnesota taxpayers watched their dollars vanish into overseas real estate, sports cars, and luxury wardrobes.

Jake Tapper’s rare moment of accountability exposed something Democrats hoped the public would ignore — their refusal to enforce oversight allowed one of the largest fraud scandals in American history to flourish right under their noses.

And Ilhan Omar’s pathetic excuse only confirmed how little responsibility any of them are willing to take.
