But one veteran actor just shattered the script.

Kyle MacLachlan — the cult-favorite star beloved for his eerie brilliance in Twin Peaks and his decades of standout roles — broke from the Hollywood herd and did something that actually required real effort, not performative activism. And it left the industry stunned.

MacLachlan, now 65 and as recognizable as ever, could have easily mailed in a check and posed for a heartwarming Instagram moment like most of his peers. Instead, he went hands-on for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during GivingTuesday.
The kicker? He wasn’t there to glamourize himself — he was there to work.
Instead of the typical celebrity routine, MacLachlan teamed up with St. Jude and social media personality Noah Beck to co-host a puppet-themed PSA based entirely on artwork created by St. Jude patients.¹
