Minnesota’s political establishment is in meltdown after stunning allegations from inside the state’s own government. Employees at the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) have stepped forward with a blistering statement accusing Democrat Governor Tim Walz of presiding over — and actively concealing — one of the largest fraud operations in state history. According to these whistleblowers, more than $1 billion in taxpayer money vanished as state leaders allegedly ignored warnings, punished truth-tellers, and protected a sprawling Somali-led criminal network.
DHS insiders say the governor didn’t just miss red flags — he suppressed them. Staff members claim Walz used the machinery of government to intimidate, silence, and retaliate against employees who tried to blow the whistle on the corruption engulfing state agencies.
They now claim the governor’s office orchestrated “political intimidation, monitoring, threats, and agency manipulation” to hide evidence and protect perpetrators.
This scandal follows years of explosive reporting, including revelations that 70 people tied to Minnesota’s Somali community looted $250 million in COVID relief funds that were supposed to feed children. Huge sums were allegedly funneled overseas, with investigators estimating that as much as 80% of the money is still missing.
