Federal agents executed a series of search warrants Thursday on Lakanwal’s $2,000-a-month apartment in Bellingham, Washington. What they found inside raised eyebrows. Neighbors told IBT the residence was “sparse,” with “barely any furniture,” no beds, and people sleeping on couch cushions.
