Yellowstone Tourist Makes One Huge Wolf Mistake

Yellowstone National Park is one of America’s most breathtaking treasures. It is also one of the places where common sense goes to die. Rangers have spent decades begging visitors to follow basic safety rules, yet every year someone decides that deadly wildlife is nothing more than a backdrop for their vacation selfies.

This month, one tourist took that insanity to a new level when he casually walked toward a pack of wolves as horrified onlookers watched.

Witnesses in Lamar Valley were stunned on October 6 when a man in a white scarf strolled directly toward five black wolves. Wildlife photographer Keith Kerbs was filming from a safe distance, along with nearly one hundred concerned viewers.

“He’s in mortal danger.” one witness exclaimed as the man ignored common sense and federal law.

The footage, later posted to the Facebook group “Yellowstone National Park: Invasion of the Idiots,” spread quickly because almost no one could believe what they were seeing. The wolves sprinted down a hillside toward the man. At first he stepped back. Then he did the unthinkable. He marched toward them.
