Indivisible first emerged in 2016, right after Donald Trump shocked the world by winning the presidency. It began with a viral 23-page playbook titled “Indivisible: A Practical Guide to Resisting the Trump Agenda.”
The manual, written by former congressional staffers Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg, became the go-to handbook for progressives on how to disrupt Trump’s first term. From storming congressional town halls to flooding offices with calls, the guide taught activists how to apply maximum political pressure while appearing “grassroots.”
