Cheryl Hines walked into The View expecting a friendly chat about her new memoir, “Unscripted.” Instead, she walked out having completely flipped the script on the show’s liberal hosts — and it all started with just two words that left them speechless: “Why not?”
A Book Tour Turned Ambush
On Tuesday, Hines appeared on ABC’s The View for what was supposed to be a standard celebrity interview. But things took a sharp political turn the moment co-host Sunny Hostin went on the attack, taking aim at Hines’s husband — Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“Respectfully, your husband is the least qualified Department of Health and Human Services head that we’ve had in history,” Hostin snapped, offering no evidence whatsoever.
But instead of backing down, Hines met the attack head-on. With a calm but pointed response, she cut straight to the heart of Hostin’s argument.
