Joy Behar Just Said the Quiet Part Out Loud

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

That one line reveals everything. In Behar’s worldview, democracy only “works” when Democrats are in power. The moment Republicans win, suddenly democracy is “broken.”

Doubling Down Instead of Backing Off

Conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin tried to offer a correction, pointing out that Behar was twisting the meaning of the poll. But Behar wasn’t about to walk it back.

“I know, but I’m saying it!” she admitted. “I’m saying that!”

In other words, she openly confessed she was making it up just to push her narrative. At least she’s honest about it.

Ana Navarro Insults the Voters

Not to be outdone, fellow co-host Ana Navarro joined in by insulting the very Americans who voted Trump back into office.

Navarro argued that Trump only returned to power because voters “forgotten how bad Trump was” during his first term.

“I think it meant a lot to people in 2020 when Joe Biden was first running because we were just surviving that first Trump term,” Navarro said. “I think if somebody was running now against Trump, when people have been painfully reminded of what an authoritarian he is, it would be very different.”

So Biden’s four years of inflation, border chaos, and global instability were nothing more than a “reminder” about Trump? The arrogance is breathtaking.

Complaining About Checks and Balances

Navarro didn’t stop there. She went on to complain that America’s constitutional framework wasn’t doing enough to block Trump.

“I also think why people don’t feel democracy is working, is because our system is supposed to work through a system of checks and balances,” Navarro said.

Think about that for a moment. Navarro is upset that the very system designed to protect voters’ choices isn’t doing more to stop the President they elected. And yet these are the same voices who claim Trump is the authoritarian.

The Mask Comes Off

This exchange perfectly sums up what conservatives have argued for years. When Democrats and their media allies talk about “defending democracy,” they aren’t talking about respecting elections, checks and balances, or the will of the people.

They’re talking about maintaining power. Period.

Behar all but admitted that in her mind, democracy only exists when Democrats win. Navarro added that when voters reject the Left’s agenda, the problem isn’t the politicians – it’s the voters themselves.

The Real Threat to Democracy

The irony could not be more obvious. These same hosts spent Trump’s first term warning he was an “authoritarian” who wouldn’t accept election results. Yet now that he has returned to office with a decisive victory in 2024, they’re the ones claiming democracy has failed.

Navarro’s frustration with the checks and balances system is particularly revealing. She’s not worried about tyranny. She’s worried about the Constitution doing its job by limiting her side’s power.

What This Means for America

At the end of the day, Behar let the truth slip out. She exposed the Left’s real definition of democracy: a system where Democrats always win, and when they don’t, the system must be “broken.”

American voters delivered a clear mandate in 2024. They chose Donald Trump and rejected Biden’s failed agenda. That’s how democracy works.

But on The View, respecting the will of the people isn’t part of the plan. Instead, they scold voters for making the “wrong” choice and demand the system override the outcome.

That’s not protecting democracy. That’s undermining it while pretending to hold the moral high ground.

And it shows exactly why millions of Americans no longer trust the corporate media or their endless lectures about “saving democracy.”
