“Look, guys, there’s no way to sugarcoat it. Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because of all of our woke trans bullsht. Not even Black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us. So we need new voters. If we give all these illegal aliens free health care, we might be able to get them on our side so they can vote for us. They can’t even speak English, so they won’t realize we’re just a bunch of woke pieces of sht. At least for a while. Then they learn English and realize they hate us too.”
The meme didn’t stop there. The editors added a sombrero and a cartoonish mustache to Jeffries, clearly poking fun at Democrats’ reliance on mass immigration as a political strategy. Trump posted the clip to his official account, triggering immediate outrage from the Left.
Jeffries wasted no time rushing to MSNBC, where he joined host Lawrence O’Donnell to denounce the parody. The two men spent the segment fuming over the video, both refusing to laugh and instead treating the joke as a national crisis.
O’Donnell introduced the segment by announcing he wouldn’t even play the video for his viewers. He told his audience:
“Leading off our discussion tonight is House Democratic Leader, Councilman Hakeem Jeffries of New York. Mr. Leader. I’m not showing this video that Donald Trump put out about you and Chuck Schumer today. This fake video—people are going to see it. They’ll see it in other ways. It’s easy to find. But it is absolutely disgusting in every way. It is a lie. The man you met with has now lied about what you said after that meeting. Could you give us your reaction to that Trump-posted video tonight?”
Jeffries, visibly rattled, blasted Trump as a bigot. He snapped back:
“It’s a disgusting video, and we’re going to continue to make clear: bigotry will get you nowhere. We are fighting to protect the health care of the American people in the face of an unprecedented Republican assault on all the things—Medicaid, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act.”
He then launched into a laundry list of Democrat talking points, claiming Republicans were shutting down hospitals, attacking health care, and only working to enrich “billionaire donors.”
Jeffries continued:
“Clearly, Donald Trump and Republicans know that they have a very weak position because they are hurting everyday Americans while continuing to reward their billionaire donors, just like they did in that one big, ugly bill with massive tax breaks. Democrats are united in the House and the Senate, and the point that we’ve made will continue to be clear: we are fighting to lower the high cost of health care, prevent these dramatically increased premiums, copays, and deductibles that will take place in a matter of days unless Republicans are willing to act in terms of renewing the Affordable Care Act tax credits.”
Instead of being intimidated, Trump took things a step further. Hours after the MSNBC appearance, he reposted the interview—but with a twist. This time, the parody showed Jeffries still wearing a sombrero and mustache, now joined by four animated versions of Trump playing instruments around him.
The clip was brutal in its mockery, and it sent a clear message: Trump isn’t afraid to laugh at Democrats, and he knows humor is one of their greatest weaknesses. While Jeffries and O’Donnell tried to frame the parody as “bigotry,” the reality is that satire works because it exposes the absurdity of the Left’s agenda in ways speeches never could.
WATCH:
Trump’s latest jab is proof that he’s staying on offense heading into 2024. And if the Democrats keep melting down every time he posts a meme, he’s likely to keep the trolling going.
