Just eleven days after conservative leader Charlie Kirk was assassinated, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez decided to use the tragedy not for unity, not for healing — but for one of the most vicious political attacks in recent memory.
On Friday, House Republicans brought forward a resolution to honor Charlie Kirk’s life and legacy. The 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA was gunned down by a radical leftist while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.
You’d think this would be a moment for bipartisan respect. You’d think even the most hardened Democrats could put politics aside long enough to honor a young man murdered for his beliefs.
You’d be wrong.
Instead of offering condolences, AOC took to the House floor and unleashed an attack so cruel that many watching were left stunned.
