No one can ever truly step into Charlie Kirk’s shoes at Turning Point USA or match his legendary debate skills. But on Wednesday night, former Fox News host Megyn Kelly made it clear she was ready to defend the movement — and President Trump — when a liberal student at Virginia Tech tried to smear both in front of a roaring crowd.
The event, hosted by Turning Point USA in Blacksburg, Virginia, was only the second major gathering since the shocking assassination of Kirk. Emotions were already running high when one student decided to cross the line — claiming, without evidence, that Donald Trump somehow shared the blame for Kirk’s death.
That’s when Kelly stepped in.
Rather than let the slander slide, Kelly confronted the student head-on, dismantling his talking points one by one while the audience erupted in applause.
