Ilhan Omar Tied to $2.9M Fraud Scandal?

The political circle around Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is facing fresh scrutiny after a former campaign associate admitted to his role in a jaw-dropping, multi-million-dollar COVID-era food fraud conspiracy.

Federal prosecutors revealed that Guhaad Hashi Said, 49, a man once described by Alpha News as an “enforcer” for Omar’s campaign, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

The scandal centers around the massive Feeding Our Future investigation, a sweeping probe into what prosecutors say was one of the largest COVID fraud cases in the country.

Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph H. Thompson didn’t hold back when describing the scope of the criminal operation.
