Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett isn’t shying away from big topics—whether it’s Donald Trump’s hint at a possible third term or the future of landmark Supreme Court rulings.
In a recent interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, Barrett promoted her new book while tackling questions about the Constitution, presidential term limits, and the role of the Court in shaping American life.
The discussion turned political when Baier brought up the 22nd Amendment, which limits presidents to two terms. Ratified in 1951 after Franklin D. Roosevelt’s historic four-term presidency, the amendment leaves no room for a third run.
Baier pressed Barrett on how the Constitution should be read in today’s world.
