During a heated Senate Finance Committee hearing, Senator Elizabeth Warren came prepared to corner Kennedy on vaccine policy. But what she didn’t expect was for Kennedy to strike back with one devastating fact that left her politically exposed.
Warren’s failed ambush
The Massachusetts Democrat tried to box Kennedy in, accusing him of backtracking on promises he allegedly made during his confirmation as Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary.
“What you should be doing is honoring your promise that you made when you were looking to get confirmed in this job. And that is, you promised that you would not take away vaccines from anyone who wanted them,” Warren charged. “You just changed the classification of the COVID vaccine.”
