Specifically, she claimed two separate homes as her “primary residence” within just weeks of one another—an action that not only violates mortgage rules but also constitutes criminal fraud.
The first mortgage in question was obtained on June 18, 2021, when Cook purchased a property in Ann Arbor, Michigan. On that application, she affirmed she would live in the home as her principal residence within 60 days of the loan agreement.
