Washington, D.C. is no longer the playground for left-wing agitators it once was. President Trump’s decision to federalize the city’s police force and flood the streets with federal agents is already producing results.
And one anti-Trump protester just found out the hard way that even a sandwich can land you in serious federal trouble.
Federal Crackdown Hits the Streets
As part of Trump’s emergency law-and-order initiative, the D.C. Metropolitan Police have been placed under federal command. Backed by hundreds of National Guard members and agents from the FBI, DEA, ATF, Capitol Police, and Border Protection, law enforcement now has unprecedented power to restore safety in the nation’s capital.
That reality set in Sunday night when a local activist decided to pick a fight he couldn’t win.
The Sandwich Attack
According to court records, 30-year-old Sean Charles Dunn confronted a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer on U Street, screaming obscenities and calling him a “fascist.” After briefly walking away, Dunn returned with a bizarre weapon of choice — a Subway sandwich.
