Lara attempted to push back with facts. But the leftist media personality wasn’t having it.
LARA TRUMP: “You’ve had your bones to pick with President Trump. If you took his name out of it and looked solely at what had happened, how would you rate his presidency so far?”
CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: “Uh, I wouldn’t give it a good rating, simply because the least of us are still being impacted the worst.”
Charlamagne took aim at Trump’s pro-growth tax reform, even while admitting it helped him financially.
“When you look at something like the ‘Big, Beautiful Bill,’ that’s something that I’m going to benefit from because of the tax bracket that I’m in, but you know, there are going to be so many people that are hurt by that bill.”
“And you know, anything that takes away Medicaid from people and puts people in a worse financial situation than they were previously in, I’m not for…”
Lara tried to set the record straight:
LARA TRUMP: “That has happened, inflation is trending down…”
Charlamagne’s response?
CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: “No.”
LARA TRUMP: “By the way, Medicaid, we want to make sure the people who are not actual recipients are off Medicaid so it can actually benefit more people. There is actually good stuff in that bill…”
But the leftist host kept pressing.
CHARLAMAGNE THA GOD: “Right now, people are hurting, they want change.”
Charlamagne also took a wild swing at Trump over the unsealed Epstein files, bizarrely claiming the revelations could break MAGA’s influence within the GOP.
“I think that traditional conservatives are going to take the Republican Party back,” he claimed. “I think this Epstein thing is going to be a way for traditional conservatives to take their party back, I really do.”
“The MAGA base isn’t letting this issue go, and for the first time, they know they can probably take the party back and not piss off the MAGA base.”
That appearance did not sit well with President Trump — and he didn’t mince words in his fiery response on Truth Social.
“The very wonderful and talented Lara Trump, whose show is a big ratings success, put racist sleazebag Charlamagne ‘The God’ (Why is he allowed to use the word ‘GOD’ when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?)”
Trump added:
“He’s a Low IQ individual, has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me or what I have done – like just ending 5 Wars, including a 31 year bloodbath between Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, where Seven Million people have died, and there was no end in sight.”
The former president then ticked off a list of accomplishments that the media — and critics like Charlamagne — ignore at all costs.
“He didn’t know that, or India and Pakistan or, wiping out Iran’s nuclear capabilities, or closing the horrendous open Border, or creating the greatest economy, where prices and Inflation have come way down…”
Trump didn’t stop there:
“And where STUPID and CORRUPT JOE BIDEN set the record for doing the Worst Job as President, EVER.”
“But this dope, Charlamagne, would vote for Sleepy Joe or Kamala? Remember, one year ago our Country was DEAD, now it’s the ‘HOTTEST’ Country anywhere in the World. MAGA!!!”
The takeaway? Once again, the liberal media is out of touch — and this time, they brought their Trump-bashing right to his own family’s front door. But President Trump isn’t backing down — he’s firing back with facts, results, and that signature America First energy that built a movement.
