Trump Just CRUSHED 60 Minutes in Court!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The case quickly gained traction, especially as insiders hinted that the network was rushing to put the scandal behind them. Earlier this month, sources close to the matter said settlement talks were in the “advanced stages,” and financial details would soon be finalized.

Those details are now public—and they are staggering.

“Just like ABC and George Slopadopoulos, CBS and its Corporate Owners knew that they defrauded the American People, and were desperate to settle. Paramount/CBS/60 Minutes have today paid $16 Million Dollars in settlement, and we also anticipate receiving $20 Million Dollars more from the new Owners, in Advertising, PSAs, or similar Programming, for a total of over $36 Million Dollars,” Trump posted.

The comment references a previous legal victory against ABC News, which also settled with Trump after their anchor George Stephanopoulos falsely referred to him as a “convicted rapist” during an interview with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC). That settlement cost ABC $15 million in charitable donations, an additional $1 million in legal fees, and a formal apology aired live on their network.

Now CBS is the latest outlet to cave.

This series of legal wins suggests a seismic shift in the relationship between media elites and the man who has relentlessly called them out for “Fake News.” In his statement, Trump put the entire media establishment on alert:

“The Wall Street Journal, The Failing New York Times, The Washington Post, MSDNC, CNN, and all other Mainstream Media Liars, are ON NOTICE that the days of them being allowed to deceive the American People are OVER. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

This isn’t just about a single lawsuit—it’s a growing pattern. Last week, Trump revealed his next target: the Wall Street Journal. The paper ran a highly controversial story alleging that Trump had once sent a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein that included a lewd drawing and a signature. Trump has denied the report outright and says he’ll be taking legal action against the Journal, News Corporation, and its founder Rupert Murdoch.

For years, the media has operated with impunity, spinning narratives, crafting hit pieces, and brushing aside accountability. But under Trump’s renewed legal offensive, those days may be numbered.

The president’s high-profile legal strategy—punishing false reporting not just with retractions but with massive financial consequences—could have a chilling effect on the legacy press. It sends one message loud and clear: lies now come with a price tag.

From ABC to CBS, the networks are learning that Donald Trump won’t back down when it comes to the truth. The scoreboard reads Trump: 2, Fake News: 0—and he’s not done yet.
