Barbra Blames Trump for Her Album?!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

This isn’t the first time Streisand has used her fame to bash the 45th President. At a private dinner with Democrat Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey, Streisand recalled him saying that America’s political atmosphere is filled with “created chaos, corruption and cruelty.” She eagerly agreed and took the moment to link the sentiment directly to Trump, saying, “That kind of sums him up.”

For someone known for musical excellence, Streisand’s obsession with Donald Trump is starting to sound like a broken record.

In her 2023 memoir My Name Is Barbra, she held nothing back: “He lies as easily as he breathes.” She added, “I can’t stand being lied to, and I don’t think the country should be lied to either,” before mocking Trump in a bizarre and bigoted jab, “And I just couldn’t comprehend how he could tell all these lies with absolutely no guilt (clearly he’s not Jewish.)”

This wasn’t just political disagreement—it was a personal crusade against a man Streisand clearly loathes. In the same book, she painted Trump’s 2016 election win as an unthinkable disaster, writing, “You wouldn’t go to a doctor who has no qualifications or experience in treating your disease. Why on earth would people want to entrust our country to a narcissist whose lack of experience, recklessness, and blatant disregard for the truth made him completely unfit to be president?”

She didn’t stop there. Streisand warned that Trump was a dangerous role model: “What worried me was that the younger generation would emulate this man, who showed no kindness or empathy for other human beings.”

With all due respect to her musical legacy, Streisand is now treating her fans to an ongoing political lecture set to background music. The album, featuring McCartney on “My Valentine,” could have been a welcome showcase of musical legends collaborating—if it weren’t weighed down by Streisand’s grim worldview and anti-Trump obsession.

Instead of celebrating the joy of music, Streisand’s latest project feels more like a campaign ad disguised as a ballad. She may call it The Secret of Life, but for millions of Americans who still support President Trump, the real secret may be that they’re tuning her out.

With a promo video for her duet with McCartney already circulating, it’s clear Streisand is doubling down on star power. But the message behind the music is unmistakable: this isn’t just an album—it’s a political statement from a Hollywood elite who still can’t get over Trump’s victory nearly a decade ago.

As 2024 heats up and Trump remains a dominant figure in the political arena, it looks like Streisand is making sure her musical return comes with a side of partisan politics. Whether fans embrace the songs or reject the messaging remains to be seen. But one thing’s for sure—Barbra’s not done singing the blues about Donald Trump.
