Trump: “Tucker Said He Was Sorry”

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

With tensions boiling over, President Trump made the bold decision to cut his G7 summit visit in Canada short and return to Washington, D.C. By Monday evening, he was back in the Situation Room meeting with his National Security Council. At the top of the agenda — whether or not the United States would take more direct steps to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

But not everyone on the Right was on board.

During his War Room interview, Tucker Carlson issued a stark warning: “If the US gets dragged into a war with Iran,” he said, it could “effectively end Trump’s presidency.” Carlson drew direct parallels to the George W. Bush era, recalling how America was misled into a war with Iraq over so-called “weapons of mass destruction.”

Carlson’s remarks didn’t stop there. In an interview with Senator Ted Cruz, Carlson challenged Cruz over his hawkish stance and support for regime change in Iran. The exchange quickly escalated, with Carlson launching pointed criticism not just at Cruz — but at President Trump himself.

That didn’t sit well with the 45th president.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump hit back, making it clear that letting Iran go nuclear isn’t an option under any circumstances. In his trademark style, Trump posted:
“Somebody please explain to kooky Tucker Carlson that,” IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!”

But the story didn’t end there.

Just days later, President Trump revealed that Carlson had reached out to make amends.
“Tucker’s a nice guy. He called and apologized…because he thought he said things that were a little bit too strong,” Trump shared.

The president, never shy to speak his mind, doubled down on his no-nukes-for-Iran stance.
“If they think that it’s okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon, then they should oppose me — but nobody thinks it’s okay!” he said.

And for those trying to paint Trump as warmongering — he shut that down, too.
“I don’t wanna fight either! I’m not looking to fight!” he stated.

This situation showcases not only the razor-thin line conservatives must walk in times of global instability — but also how internal criticism can spark important conversations about America’s role on the world stage.

In the end, President Trump stands firm: keeping America safe means making sure radical regimes like Iran never get their hands on a nuclear weapon — whether the media agrees with him or not.
