Noncitizens are required to register with the federal government, provide fingerprints, and list a valid address. Those who refuse face serious consequences: criminal charges and a crushing $989 fine for every single day they refuse to comply.
Resources, of course, are limited. The federal government’s capacity for detaining illegals caps at around 47,000 beds. There’s also a limit to the number of ICE agents available to carry out removals. But even with these hurdles, the Trump administration is already blowing past Biden’s weak record on deportations.
Homan didn’t hold back when addressing the dishonest media narratives. He slammed reports claiming Biden oversaw more deportations than Trump, exposing the trickery behind the numbers.

“We’re keeping families together. So when a parent says, ‘I want my 2-year-old baby to go with me,’ we made that happen,” Homan explained.
“They weren’t deported. We don’t deport U.S. citizens. The parents made that decision, not the United States government.”
