They Laughed at Trump — Now They’re CAUGHT

But Trump didn’t just talk — he acted. He implemented a system of tariffs meant to level the playing field, especially targeting nations that have long taken advantage of America’s generosity.

Predictably, the elites on Wall Street lost their minds. Markets dipped as fear-mongers screamed about recession. But Trump wasn’t moved. He knew the pain would be short-term — and the long-term gains would be massive.

Trump Survivor Coin

China, unwilling to lose its grip on America’s economy, lashed out by slapping 50% tariffs on U.S. exports. That turned out to be a major mistake.

Instead of retreating, Trump went all-in. He responded by jacking up tariffs on Chinese goods to a staggering 125%. Then he paused reciprocal tariffs on every other nation that refused to retaliate — offering them a seat at the negotiating table for brand new deals.

“At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable… I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump declared on Truth Social.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made it clear: this wasn’t just policy — it was strategy.

“All this was again driven by the President’s strategy. He and I had a long talk on Sunday and this was his strategy all along… don’t retaliate, things will turn out well,” Bessent told reporters.

In other words, Trump baited Beijing — and they walked right into it.

Now, America’s allies are rushing to the table. Indo-Pacific powerhouses like Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, and India were among the first to get in line for trade talks.

“But we have a meeting with Vietnam today… I was at the Japanese ambassador’s house last night for the cherry blossom festival, which was quite festive, and he and I had a good chat,” Bessent shared.

That wasn’t coincidence. Trump’s move is about more than trade — it’s about isolating China and building stronger ties with its neighbors.

With a 90-day window in place, these countries are feeling the pressure. They have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to strike fair deals with the United States — deals that fix long-standing trade abuses, eliminate currency manipulation, and break down corrupt barriers that block U.S. products.

“They are going to send a deal over, so we’ll see… President Trump has created this negotiating leverage,” Bessent said confidently.

Bottom line? Trump’s gamble worked. He’s once again proving that strength gets results — and when it comes to standing up to Communist China, he’s not bluffing.
