Elon’s $150B Announcement STUNS D.C.!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

But even $150 billion isn’t nothing. That’s hundreds of billions back in the pockets of taxpayers—and Musk claims the effort has already saved each American household nearly $1,000.

“People ask me, like, well, how are you going to find waste, fraud and abuse in the federal in the government? I’m like, well, actually, just go in any direction,” Musk quipped. “That’s how you find it. It’s very common. It’s, as military would say, a target rich environment.”

Musk didn’t hold back when describing the kinds of absurdities his team uncovered—such as payments to people “who haven’t been born yet.” And DOGE’s latest crackdown is already ruffling feathers among Democrats and global aid organizations alike.

Earlier this month, DOGE proudly announced the cancellation of $51 million in grants handed out by the U.S. African Development Foundation. The projects included taxpayer-funded efforts to promote shea butter, yogurt, mango drying, and dragon fruit cultivation in Africa.

Among the more bizarre examples:

  • $230,000 for “100% organic” shea butter in Burkina Faso
  • $240,000 for pineapple juice marketing in Benin
  • $100,000 for yogurt production in Uganda
  • $84,000 for a “spa and wellness incubator” in Nigeria
  • $50,000 for teaching Senegalese farmers how to grow dragon fruit
  • Nearly $50,000 for a WhatsApp chatbot marketing program in Kenya

“The US African Development Foundation has terminated $51M in grants,” DOGE posted on X.

Conservatives are applauding Musk’s aggressive efforts to restore fiscal sanity. But not everyone is happy. Liberal lawmakers and global development groups are already accusing DOGE of gutting “vital services” and overstepping legal boundaries, even claiming the agency accessed the personal data of millions of Americans—though no evidence has been provided.

Despite the pushback, the Trump administration appears fully behind Musk and his aggressive, no-nonsense approach to cleaning house.

Rumors swirled last week that Musk may be stepping down from his role. But Vice President J.D. Vance swiftly shot down those claims.

“First of all, that report I saw was total fake news,” Vance told Fox News.

He clarified that Musk was initially brought in as a special advisor for a six-month blitz on federal inefficiency—a role limited by law to 130 days, set to expire this summer. But that doesn’t mean Musk is out.

“We said that’s going to take about six months, and that’s what Elon signed up for, but of course, he’s going to continue to be an advisor,” Vance explained.

Musk’s temporary government gig might be winding down, but the disruption he’s caused in Washington could have lasting effects.

With DOGE steamrolling through federal red tape, many Americans are now asking: if Musk can find $150 billion in savings in just a few months… what else has D.C. been hiding from us?

One thing’s for sure—Washington is finally being forced to face a long-overdue audit, and Elon Musk is leading the charge.
