Leaked Pelosi Video Goes Viral – She’ll HATE This!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

It was a moment that, looking back, draws a sharp contrast to Pelosi’s recent attacks on Trump’s use of tariffs to pressure foreign governments and protect American jobs.

“Donald Trump’s reckless tariffs will cause chaos in our economy, raise prices for consumers and hurt hardworking American families. This is not a strategy — it’s the largest tax hike on the American people in history,” Pelosi wrote on X.

So which is it, Nancy?

In her 1996 speech, Pelosi blasted the Chinese Communist regime for exploiting the United States on trade, referencing the growing trade deficit and calling out the lack of reciprocity in tariffs. It’s the same argument Trump used to justify his trade war with Beijing.

“Right now, we have a $34 billion trade deficit with China … it will be over $40 billion for 1996. Since the Tiananmen Square massacre, this figure has increased 1,000 percent, from $3.5 billion then to about $34 billion now,” she said. “In terms of tariffs, it’s think it’s interesting to note that the average U.S. MFN tariff on Chinese goods coming into the United States is 2 percent whereas the average MFN tariff on U.S. goods going into China is 35 percent.”

Pelosi even hit China for blocking American products while flooding U.S. shelves with cheap goods.

“Is that reciprocal? On exports, China only allows certain U.S. industries into China and therefore only 2 percent of U.S. exports are allowed into China. On the other hand, the U.S. allows China to flood our markets with a third of their exports and that will probably go to over 40 percent and it’s limitless because we have not placed any restrictions,” Pelosi added.

Sound familiar?

Trump spent years hammering these very same points. Yet Pelosi now dismisses such concerns as “reckless.”

Her speech didn’t stop there. She laid out a case for economic leverage, arguing that the U.S. held the upper hand—and that China needed access to American markets more than we needed theirs.

“And this brings us to the point that others have said, ‘Well we can’t isolate China.’ Do you think for one minute that with 10 million jobs at least and $35 billion and over $40 billion this year in a trade surplus — all those billions of dollars in surplus — that the Chinese are going to walk away?” Pelosi stated. “Where are they going to take 35 to 40 percent of their exports? Who’s going to buy them? This is what sustains the regime — the funding and the jobs. They can’t have those people out of work. They have to be worth exporting to the United States.”

If Trump had said these words, legacy media would be foaming at the mouth. But coming from Pelosi, the video has been buried—until now.

This resurfaced clip is more than just a political time capsule. It’s a flashing neon sign of Pelosi’s hypocrisy. The very tactics she once championed are now condemned—simply because Donald Trump adopted them.

And it begs the question: Was Nancy Pelosi ever truly concerned about China? Or was her stance always just political theater?

Either way, this video from her past is now making waves—and it’s exactly the kind of thing Pelosi doesn’t want the American people to see.
