According to ESPN, the Panthers lost badly to the Jaguars, falling behind 26-0.
Tepper, the second-richest owner in the league, receives a hefty $300,000 punishment from the NFL for his outrageous behavior.
The league blasted the team owner for showing a lack of “respect” for the supporters who foot the cost in a statement that was shared on the social networking site X.
“The National Football League today fined Carolina Panthers’ chairman David Tepper $300,000 for his unacceptable conduct in Jacksonville during Sunday’s game,” said in a statement from the league.
The NFL added, “All NFL personnel are expected to conduct themselves at all times in ways that respect our fans and favorably reflect on their team and the NFL.”
