According to recently released court records, a grand jury indicted a former Virginia election official on two felony counts charging improper behavior as an election official, leading to the reporting of false results for the 2020 presidential election.
Reportedly, Michele White, the former general registrar of Prince William County “altered the election results within the state reporting system, VERIS.”

“Her alterations resulted in the false reporting of the election results from Prince William County,” According to The Epoch Times, the court documents said.

According to reports, White requested a “Bill of Particulars” from the prosecution in order to give additional information regarding the alleged misconduct.

A county in which former President Donald Trump earned 44% of the vote and President Joe Biden 54% in the 2020 presidential contest was the subject of three grand jury charges last year due to allegations that an election official at the time “altered election results” in the state’s reporting system.
Michele White, the former registrar of Prince William County, is facing severe charges for suspected electoral corruption in 2022. She is charged with deliberate neglect of duty and creating a false statement. The highly anticipated jury trial for White is set to begin on January 16, 2024, and last until January 26.

Indictments were recently made by the Virginia Attorney General’s office, although the details were sparse. It was revealed that White faces charges of breaking the law from August 2020 to December 2020. Specifics of the purported acts, nevertheless, have not been made public.

“Ms. White argued through a lawyer in the document that the best evidence of the results were being kept under seal by the county clerk, and that the judge overseeing the case should let her access the evidence,” The Epoch Times reports.
As stated in The Epoch Times:
The judge supervising the case gave the defense and prosecution access to the 2020 election documents that Prince William County Circuit Court clerk Jacqueline Smith possessed in a March 2023 ruling that was also made public this week.
The ruling specified that the clerk’s office would oversee the parties during their review and copying of the records.
“It is the discretion of the clerk to decide how records may be copied and who may accompany the defense team and prosecution team to assist in the review of these records,” Judge Carroll Weimer Jr. of the Virginia Circuit Court noted that the defense’s request was granted. The judge denied the motion for money to pay for an audit.
When questioned, Ms. Smith stayed mute.
The Virginia attorney general’s office detailed the materials it is using in the lawsuit in a different document. One Word document on the list was named “2020 discrepancies summary – POTUS,” “an Excel spreadsheet titled “VERIS CHANGE LOG ANALYSIS,” and a document titled “November Change Log PWC Only.”
An Adobe file named “EAC_Data_Summit_Philly” and an email with the subject line “call me please” were also attached to the tranche.
In Philadelphia in 2018, the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) convened a meeting to “examine ways election officials could use all types of data to improve processes and inform decision making,” in accordance with a commission summary.
