President Donald Trump is once again putting the financial pressures facing America’s seniors at the center of his administration’s agenda.
More than 20 million Medicare beneficiaries are set to receive a one-time $90 payment this month under a new initiative designed to help offset the cost of Medicare Part B premiums.
The payments, announced by Trump Friday, are expected to provide some relief for millions of older Americans living on fixed incomes as everyday expenses continue to weigh heavily on household budgets.
According to the White House and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, approximately 20.8 million Americans enrolled in Original Medicare Part B qualify for the payment.
