A West Virginia public employee is facing serious criminal consequences after allegedly posting online comments that authorities say crossed a dangerous and unmistakable line—one that involved encouraging violence against former President Donald Trump.
The individual at the center of the controversy, identified as Morrow, was employed by the Jackson County Public Library, a taxpayer-funded institution meant to serve the local community. According to law enforcement, her actions on social media were not merely political commentary but rose to the level of criminal threats targeting the 45th and 47th president of the United States.
Local outlet WOWK reported that investigators interpreted Morrow’s online statements as an explicit call for Trump’s assassination. Following a review of the content and the surrounding circumstances, authorities took her into custody. She was formally charged on Monday with one count of making threats of terroristic acts, a felony offense under state law.
As the investigation unfolded, officials revealed that Morrow allegedly admitted to authoring the post in question. She reportedly confirmed that her comments were directed squarely at President Trump, leaving little room for ambiguity about her intent or the target of her remarks.
