Retired Army General Mark Milley, a well-known figure among supporters of critical race theory and the so-called Deep State, is reportedly terrified that he will face retribution for his actions during the Trump administration. Milley, who drew widespread criticism for his controversial statements and decisions, allegedly fears that if Donald Trump returns to power, he could be recalled to military duty and court-martialed.
In a conversation with renowned journalist Bob Woodward, Milley reportedly expressed his concerns, revealing that he fears being held accountable for what many view as acts of disloyalty to the former president. According to Milley, Trump and his allies, such as former White House strategist Steve Bannon, have made it clear that they intend to pursue justice against those who they believe sabotaged Trump’s presidency.

Milley’s fears seem to be based on statements made by Trump himself, as well as Bannon, who was once a key player in the Trump administration. Bannon, who was later jailed for contempt of Congress, has openly stated, “We’re gonna hold him accountable.” Milley believes that if Trump is re-elected, the “guardrails” that once existed to temper Trump’s impulses might no longer be in place, leaving him vulnerable to the former president’s wrath.
