A congressional candidate from California recently made headlines when he privately funded and erected 400 feet of razor wire along a busy southern border that the Biden administration had neglected.
Republican candidate for California’s 49th congressional district, Kate Monroe, stressed to Fox News that the project is more than just publicity; it aims to stop a migrant pipeline that allows up to 150 people to cross the border in under a minute.

“It prevents a grave national security risk,” she said.
In a video capturing her visit to “San Judas Break” in southern California, which is located close to the Mexican city of San Judas, Monroe and her group were seen putting on workman’s gloves and getting right to work.
“No one has yet to come and secure this hole in the fence,” She informs her group. “If you want something done, sometimes you’ve gotta do it yourself.
“What good is a wall if you can walk right around the corner of the wall?… You want a secure nation? You need to vote for people who give a damn enough to come out here and do stuff like this,” she added.

St. Judas Break is a section of southern border wall situated around 80 miles south of San Diego, in a desolate location with sometimes missing guards. The steel barrier construction ends near to a rock formation, as Monroe demonstrates in her movie, making it easy for migrants to move between the two.
Reporters have previously flocked to this location, where they have witnessed up to 600 crossings in a single visit. After crossing the border, migrants usually turn themselves in to US immigration officials and are provided with housing, resources, and medical attention while they wait for their asylum claim to be heard.
