Verdict Revealed: Sororities Will Never Be the Same

A transgender “woman” can now join a sorority, a federal court has determined. Six Wyoming chapter sisters filed a legal action to have the transwoman removed from their campus residence because they claim she is making them uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the judge asserts that a woman is not defined.

Aphrodite Langford. There’s a twist, though. Contrary to popular belief, “Artemis” is a hulking 6’2″ and 260 pounds of a man who used to go by the name Dallin.

That rapidly turned into an issue for the sorority ladies, who reported that Langford enjoyed seeing them undress while “she” had an erection. They claimed in a complaint filed in March that the presence of Langford (who is referred to as Terry Smith in the suit) caused them to “live in constant fear.”

After being sexually attacked, a sorority member who had previously felt secure in her sorority home experienced extreme distress. Unexpectedly, it was found that the national Kappa Kappa Gamma group had exerted effort to get Langford access to the residence.

Judge Alan Johnson of the US District Court dismissed the complaint on August 25 after finding that the sorority has a “bedrock right as a private, voluntary organization” to enroll whoever it chooses and that the court could not “invade” that right. Although the Kappa Kappa Gamma bylaws state that “a new member shall be a woman,” he asserted that they do not define what a woman is and that the court would not do so.
