President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, allegedly claimed false deductions totaling about $30K while filing his 2016 and 2017 tax returns too late. David Weiss, the US Attorney for Delaware appointed by former US President Donald Trump, has launched an investigation into possible criminal charges against Hunter.
To learn more about Hunter Biden’s work overseas, investigators have painstakingly gone through papers and thoroughly questioned witnesses. The attention has been on his tenure as a board member of Burisma, a significant Ukrainian energy company at the time run by an oligarch who was under investigation for corruption. At the same time, Joe Biden was the Vice President in charge of managing Obama Administration policy in Ukraine.

Among Hunter Biden’s international business efforts are a Chinese stock holding and a disastrous association with a businessman who some have regarded as cunning but ultimately unlucky. Before being captured by Chinese officials, the individual had sent prominent Americans from both sides expensive presents, including Hunter himself, who received a sizable diamond.
Hunter Biden may be prosecuted, according to Mr. Weiss, for allegedly lying on a federal firearm purchase form in 2018 when he claimed he was not using drugs despite having previously acknowledged struggles with addiction and possibly unreliable witness testimonies about his potential substance use around this time.
Merrick Garland, the attorney general, acknowledged Weiss’ outstanding service and nominated him in 2017, choosing to retain him on despite the election year to allay any concerns that politics had played a role in his choice.
Hunter Biden’s legal team argued that even in the case of a verified complaint, conventional process requires dealing with it in a civil rather than a criminal manner.
According to a recent report, the new information would be useful for the GOP’s efforts to bring impeachment proceedings against President Biden.
Rep. James Comer started a request to the Treasury Department for any Suspicious Activity Reports connected to Hunter Biden that may be present hours after he was named Chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. As those who were involved in this widely reported incident started to take notice, there was a strong reaction to this action.
A number of papers obtained during the U.S. Secret Service’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s pistol purchase present a potentially illuminating image of his abandoned weapon, which was discovered in Delaware outside a grocery store.
“Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law, Hallie Biden, reportedly threw his handgun in a trash container in Delaware in 2020. Agents with the Secret Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) were reportedly involved. Based on the reports, a transparency group called Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Secret Service asking for records related to the incident, including reports, telephone logs, and witness statements. The Secret Service, in its initial April 2021 response, said it located records and would process them. But more than a year later, in October, it said the response was sent in error and that the agency had never actually located any responsive records. The third change came in a recent court filing that was lodged after Judicial Watch sued over the matter. The Secret Service now says more than 100 records have been located,” the report said.
A passionate relationship between Hunter and Hallie, the wife of his deceased brother Beau, was the subject of widespread rumors in the months before it was finally revealed.
“Since the Complaint was filed, the Parties have conferred about the intended scope of Judicial Watch’s FOIA request and, in response, USSS has run supplemental searches and located over 100 records, totaling over 400 pages, potentially responsive to Judicial Watch’s request under the clarified understanding of that request,” In a combined case report submitted to the U.S. court in Washington, D.C. on November 10, the Secret Service and Judicial Watch made these claims.
Although the Secret Service first denied having any documents, Judicial Watch found proof of them.
“The Secret Service’s changing story on records raises additional questions about its role in the Hunter Biden gun incident,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, pointed out in a statement. “One thing is clear, Judicial Watch’s persistence means the public may get records that the Secret Service suggested didn’t exist.”
Hunter Biden allegedly denied using drugs during federal gun form interrogation, despite his own testimony and photographic proof discovered on the laptop located in an abandoned computer repair shop showing he had been suffering from an illegitimate cocaine addiction.
Lying on a federal firearms form is a crime.
