Twitter Just Suspended ALL of These Reporters!

In an astonishing action on Thursday night, Twitter muted the voices of both independent journalists and major media outlets by preventing them from using its platform. Several well-known journalists from CNN, The New York Times, and The Washington Post were among those who were involved in this. They had all been following Elon Musk’s movements in relation to Tesla Incorporated.

Elon Musk has declared war on the platform’s location data sharing following a terrifying incident involving his son X. The corporation is taking action in response to this by deactivating the feature that allowed user profiles to view one other’s locations.

“Last night, car carrying lil X in LA was followed by crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood,” Musk wrote.

“Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family,” he continued.

A driven college student, Jack Sweeney is the 20-year-old coder behind @elonjet, which follows Elon Musk everywhere he goes. Jack tries to invite others along for the thrilling journey by utilizing his special access to this tech mogul’s life.

Musk suspended Sweeney’s account immediately.

“Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info,” Musk wrote.

Tech tycoon Elon Musk deleted seven reporters’ accounts from his Twitter account on Thursday night. The New York Times employees, Donie O’Sullivan of CNN, Matt Binder of Mashable, and Micah Lee of the Intercept were among those who were subject to the digital restriction. It also affected former MSNBC personality Keith Olbermann. During a sudden evening purge, Elon Musk also suspended independent journalists like Aaron Rupar.

Musk said, “same doxxing rules apply to “journalists” as to everyone else.”

In another tweet, Musk slammed Taylor Lorenz, “Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not.”

There was utter commotion on Twitter after it was discovered that prominent media critics of its owner Elon Musk were simultaneously banned from the platform without explanation.

Additionally, the Twitter account belonging to the social media rival Mastodon, which served as a safe haven for liberals who initially fled Twitter following Musk’s takeover (many made their way back to Twitter).

Musk, who described himself as being a free-speech absolutist, received backlash for the purge of his critics, many calling for him to explain why those accounts were suspended.
