In a shocking admission, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy gave Tucker Carlson access to more than 41,000 hours of tape from the historic January 6th event.
I demanded openness, and within hours later it was announced that the recordings would be made available.

“Hey @SpeakerMcCarthy, where is the 10,000 hours of January 6 footage you promised us?” On Sunday evening, I tweeted.
“Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds,” Axios reported. “Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks.”
Despite the fact that video of the January 6 uprising has huge consequences for public security, Tucker Carlson said that there isn’t a good reason to keep certain recordings from being made public.
“[T]here was never any legitimate reason for this footage to remain secret,” Carlson said.
“If there was ever a question that’s in the public’s interest to know, it’s what actually happened on January 6,” he continued. “By definition, this video will reveal it. It’s impossible for me to understand why any honest person would be bothered by that.”
