Veteran journalist Katie Couric is no longer pretending to be neutral when it comes to President Donald Trump. During her recent episode of “Next Question with Katie Couric,” the former NBC and CBS anchor openly admitted that she’s stopped trying to be unbiased — confirming what many conservatives have suspected for years.
The confession came during a conversation with ABC’s Jonathan Karl, who mentioned that Trump had hung an image of an autopen — rather than an official portrait — to represent President Joe Biden in what’s being called a “Presidential Wall of Fame.” The Daily Caller first revealed the story in early September, reporting that Trump wanted to display portraits of former presidents along a White House hallway.
Couric’s reaction to the move was anything but journalistic. Outraged, she told Karl:
“I’m sorry, I’ve kind of gone beyond trying to be impartial here, Jonathan, because his behavior is so beyond the pale.”
She then mocked the display, saying,
