According to sources familiar with the plan, Trump intends to take his message directly to the people, highlighting how his administration is working to reverse the price spikes voters have been grappling with for years.
The White House is signaling that Trump is preparing a series of major actions targeting the cost of everyday essentials, from groceries to utilities, and even basic items like coffee and bananas. A senior aide says that affordability is now a central mission after last week’s elections revealed just how deeply inflation continues to frustrate families across the country.
Democrats scored wins in deep-blue states such as New Jersey, New York, and Virginia, largely by leaning on economic anxiety. But even in those strongholds, voters made it clear that inflation remains one of the most persistent and painful burdens on working Americans.
