Trump Train Members CLEARED!

A federal jury in Texas has largely cleared the defendants in a civil case related to a 2020 incident involving a convoy of Trump supporters driving alongside a Biden-Harris campaign bus. The lawsuit, which accused the Trump supporters of voter intimidation and causing emotional distress, resulted in five of the six defendants being found not liable. Only one defendant, Eliazar Cisneros, was held responsible for a minor collision with a white SUV and ordered to pay $10,000 in damages to the bus driver and an additional $30,000 in punitive damages. No criminal charges were filed against any of the defendants.

The incident occurred just days before the 2020 presidential election when a group of Trump supporters, referred to as the “Trump Train,” followed the Biden-Harris campaign bus along a Texas highway. While the plaintiffs in the case claimed the Trump supporters attempted to run the bus off the road, the defendants denied any wrongdoing. In an interview with Fox News, defendants Steve and Randi Ceh, along with Joeylynn Mesaros, called the lawsuit politically motivated and said it had caused great strain on their lives.

Mesaros explained that the event had been exaggerated by partisan media outlets. “It was very friendly. I actually have tons of video of friendly encounters where we’re waving on the side of the road, smiling, the bus is just driving, and the trucks are driving behind it,” she recalled. The trio also noted that while one or two vehicles involved may have driven recklessly, those drivers were not part of the lawsuit.
