Trump to Illegals: LEAVE or PAY BIG

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

An official speaking to Reuters explained the potential for significant fines, noting that the government might also seize property from individuals who fail to pay the penalties.

A flyer obtained by Fox News outlines the “benefits” and “consequences” for illegal immigrants who choose to self-deport using the CBP Home app. The flyer encourages voluntary departure, calling self-deportation a “safe” option. “Leave on your own terms by picking your departure flight,” the flyer reads.

The flyer goes on to list several benefits for those who choose to leave voluntarily. Non-criminal illegal immigrants will be able to retain any money they earned in the U.S. and may still be eligible for future legal immigration. In some cases, they may even qualify for subsidized flights if they are unable to afford the cost of travel.

On the flip side, the flyer warns of severe consequences for those who fail to comply with deportation orders. Illegal immigrants who do not leave voluntarily will be “apprehended by DHS with no opportunity to get your affairs in order beforehand.”

Those who refuse to self-deport face a daily fine of $998 and may face additional penalties ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. The flyer also warns that failure to leave the country could result in jail time, as well as a permanent ban from reentering the U.S. through the legal immigration system.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is showing her commitment to enforcing the law by taking direct action in the field. On Tuesday, she led a team of approximately 100 federal agents in a pre-dawn raid in Phoenix, Arizona. The operation led to the arrest of three illegal immigrants, who were charged with serious crimes, including drug offenses, weapons violations, and involvement in a money laundering operation.

Noem, who was dressed in full tactical gear, including a flak jacket and her signature two-tone gold Rolex, proved her leadership in the field as she joined Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, as well as personnel from the FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

In a lighthearted moment, Noem dodged a kick from one suspect, quipping, “You’re not scaring me with your Croc,” as the suspect attempted to resist arrest.

The raid was a coordinated effort by a multi-agency task force led by Phoenix ICE agents, with support from various federal law enforcement and immigration agencies. The operation resulted in the capture of three illegal immigrant felons, each with an extensive criminal history.

Noem spoke to The New York Post about the collaboration between the various agencies involved. “The effort of cooperation we have between agencies is getting turned onto steroids. We have this being multiplied across the country exponentially,” she said. “Now, anyone who’s in this country illegally and is committing crimes will face consequences.”

The Secretary emphasized that deportation efforts would accelerate across the U.S., stating, “We’ll be sweeping them up faster than we ever have before.”

During the operation, Noem took the wheel of a BearCat armored SWAT vehicle, leading a convoy of a dozen vehicles. She was accompanied by Corey Lewandowski, former Trump campaign manager and senior adviser, who introduced himself to agents as “chief of staff.” A DHS official later clarified that Lewandowski serves as an adviser to the department.

Noem has made it clear that the Trump administration is committed to securing the resources needed to strengthen immigration enforcement and support law enforcement personnel on the front lines.

As this crackdown on illegal immigration continues, it is evident that the Trump administration is taking bold steps to address the growing concerns surrounding illegal immigration and its impact on U.S. communities. The new fines, along with the increasing number of deportation raids, signal that the administration is determined to take swift action against illegal immigration, ensuring that those who break the law face serious consequences.
