According to the findings of an ABC News and Washington Post poll, President Trump’s popularity has significantly increased from the previous national poll, which showed Biden ahead by two points. It was already too late for any influence on Wednesday’s poll findings as the focus of the country moved to a Chinese Communist Party surveillance balloon that was allegedly floating above the continental United States last Thursday evening. Republicans and even former President Donald Trump have publicly declared they would have taken action against this suspicious object sooner than what actually occurred in reality, with Joe allowing it to travel unhindered until its path across American soil ended above The Atlantic Ocean when it was finally shot down. President Biden has come under heavy fire from these groups.

A high altitude balloon floats over Billings, Mont., on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023. The U.S. is tracking a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon that has been spotted over U.S. airspace for a couple days, but the Pentagon decided not to shoot it down due to risks of harm for people on the ground, officials said Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023. Trump is in the lead in a probable 2024 presidential election, according to a new survey released just days before President Biden’s 2022 State of the Union speech. The recent declaration by Nikki Haley that the GOP will begin its presidential primary in mid-February has stoked the political fires ahead of the 2024 race. The discovery is timely given that recent polls indicate significant support for a future female Republican presidential candidate.

Republicans challenging President Trump for the candidacy of their party include Haley, Sununu, DeSantis, Pence, and Pompeo, to name just a few. As an increasingly crowded field takes shape in preparation for next year’s elections, these politicians will have to fight it out and make a strong case that they can lead America into 2024 with fresh ideas about how we live our lives together as citizens.

Republicans considering running against President Trump in 2024 believe that he could possibly be too weak a contender to beat Biden and cost the GOP the election. On ABC News’ This Week, Governor Sununu expressed this viewpoint, making a crucial argument for all sides of the political spectrum.

Recent polls, performed by both mainstream and independent publications, reveal that President Trump is much ahead of former Vice President Biden in terms of public support. A study like Harvard-Harris, which found a 5 point gap between Mr. Trump and Joe Biden, while Governor DeSantis followed at only 3 points ahead, has confirmed the Washington Post/ABC News poll’s positive results for the present president. Notably, current measurements gathered from all sources polled show that Donald Trump significantly defeated Ron DeSantis while up against Kamala Harris: 8 to 3 in favor of the incumbent leader.
