In an uncharacteristically conciliatory speech, former President Donald Trump, known for his dynamic and often confrontational campaign rallies, vowed to serve as a president for all Americans after accepting the Republican nomination at the GOP National Convention on Thursday night.
Trump, who narrowly escaped an assassination attempt just days ago, pledged to unite the country and predicted a resounding victory in the upcoming November elections.

“I am running to be president for all of America, not half of America because there is no victory in winning for half of America,” Trump declared. “So tonight, with faith and devotion, I proudly accept your nomination for president of the United States.”
Addressing a broad audience, Trump extended a message of loyalty and friendship to every American, regardless of their background or political affiliation. “I am here tonight to lay out a vision for the whole nation. To every citizen, whether you are young or old, man or woman, Democrat, Republican, or Independent, black or white, Asian or Hispanic, I extend to you a hand of loyalty and friendship,” he said. “Together, we will lead America to new heights of greatness like the world has never seen before.”
