A controversial immigration ruling is igniting backlash across conservative circles after an Obama-appointed federal judge ordered the release of a documented MS-13 gang member and then barred Trump administration officials from publicly addressing the case.
What followed only added fuel to the fire.
The released gang member quickly took to TikTok, posting celebratory videos that have enraged law enforcement advocates and Trump allies who say the justice system has been turned on its head.
Gang Member Celebrates Release Online
Kilmar Abrego Garcia was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody on December 11 after U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis ordered his detention terminated.
Rather than keeping a low profile, Garcia almost immediately appeared on social media.
