President Donald Trump sent shockwaves through Washington this morning with a daring new move in the ongoing government funding standoff — one that blindsided Democrats and flipped the political script in a single post.
What began as a Democratic effort to weaponize a potential shutdown to secure an extension of Obamacare subsidies has now turned into a political chess match that Trump appears to be winning.

In a fiery Truth Social post, Trump proposed rerouting hundreds of billions in Obamacare subsidy payments away from massive insurance corporations and giving that money straight to the American people.
“I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE, and have money left over,” Trump wrote.
