Trump Just HUMILIATED Ilhan Omar

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Omar Dodges Censure by One Vote

The sharp rebuke comes as Omar narrowly escaped a House censure resolution introduced by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.). The effort failed in a razor-thin 214-213 vote after four Republicans broke ranks and sided with Democrats to block it.

Omar rushed to portray herself as the victim, insisting on X that the resolution was based on falsehoods. “Fun fact: Nancy Mace is trying to censure me over comments I never said. Her res does not contain a single quote from me because she couldn’t find any. Unlike her, I have routinely condemned political violence, no matter the political ideology,” Omar claimed.

But her behavior tells another story. She has repeatedly targeted Kirk, even after his brutal assassination. Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) pointed this out, blasting her for sharing vile content. “Ilhan Omar didn’t just make reprehensible comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination. She shared a disgusting video claiming Charlie had it coming to him. People are losing their jobs for far less,” Gill said.

GOP Infighting Over Omar

The censure vote highlighted fractures inside the Republican Party. Reps. Mike Flood (Neb.), Tom McClintock (Calif.), Jeff Hurd (Colo.), and Cory Mills (Fla.) refused to punish Omar, essentially saving her from formal condemnation.

Mace, however, made clear she isn’t backing down. Speaking to Explain America’s Carmine Sabia, she declared: “If you’re Somalia first, you’re not America first, and a one-way ticket to Somalia is the nicest thing we could do.”

Mace also doubled down on social media, posting: “If you celebrate murder, maybe Somalia can take you back.”

In a statement to Fox News Digital, she added: “Now she’s lashing out because we called her out. What’s not ‘well’ is celebrating political violence. What’s not ‘smart’ is defending it. Omar should be ashamed of herself.”

Omar’s History of Attacking Kirk

Omar’s history with Kirk stretches back years, but her latest comments crossed the line for many Americans still mourning the conservative activist. In an interview with the far-left outlet Zeteo, just days after Kirk’s killing, she attacked his legacy. She accused him of having “downplayed slavery and what black people have gone through in this country by saying Juneteenth shouldn’t exist.”

She sneered at those trying to paint Kirk as a good-faith debater, saying: “There are a lot of people out there talking about him just wanting to have a civil debate. There is nothing more effed up than to completely pretend that his words and actions have not been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so.”

What Omar ignored is that Kirk became well known for openly engaging with people who disagreed with him on college campuses, challenging ideas in the public square—something America’s First Amendment was built on.

Bottom Line

Trump’s scorching remarks show just how fed up conservatives are with Omar’s radical agenda and her callousness toward political violence. Mace’s failed resolution may have spared her from censure this time, but the controversy is not going away. Omar’s cruel dismissal of Kirk’s assassination will not be forgotten—and her words may haunt her as voters remember which side she chose to stand on.
