Trump Just Crushed NYC’s Communist Agenda!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Trump’s message couldn’t be clearer: if New York chooses extremism, it can forget about easy access to federal funds. For years, New York has been a magnet for federal cash — soaking up over $10 billion annually during the Biden era. That money came straight from taxpayers in states that manage their budgets responsibly.

Now Mamdani is pushing a wish list that looks like it was written in Havana — free public buses, city-owned grocery stores, rent freezes, and a $30 minimum wage by 2030. Every one of those utopian ideas would require an endless stream of taxpayer dollars. Trump just announced that the gravy train stops the moment a “communist” takes over City Hall.

Trump hasn’t endorsed anyone in the three-way race between Mamdani, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa. But he made his position perfectly clear.
“If it’s gonna be between a bad Democrat and a communist, I’m gonna pick the bad Democrat all the time, to be honest with you,” Trump said.

It’s a brutal reality check for left-wing voters who may think they can elect an open Marxist and still expect federal handouts.

The interview marks Trump’s first sit-down with 60 Minutes since his legal battle with CBS’ parent company, Paramount, over what he called a “deceptively edited” 2024 segment with Kamala Harris. Paramount ultimately paid Trump a $16 million settlement earlier this year — though the company never issued an apology or admission of guilt.

Trump’s latest interview covered everything from the ongoing government shutdown and immigration enforcement to his administration’s aggressive anti-crime measures in Democrat-run cities. But it was his comments about New York that sparked the biggest reaction — coming just 48 hours before Election Day.

Polls show Mamdani holding a narrow lead heading into Tuesday, but that may not last long after Trump’s comments. A recent Quinnipiac poll puts Mamdani at 43%, Cuomo at 33%, and Sliwa at 14%. Other surveys show the gap tightening — with some now within single digits.

Early voting trends suggest older, more moderate voters could tip the scales. More than 400,000 New Yorkers have already cast ballots, and Trump’s warning might resonate with many of them.

Mamdani’s background doesn’t help his case. The self-described “democratic socialist” is a proud member of the Democratic Socialists of America. But his rhetoric often goes far beyond socialism. In 2021, Mamdani openly called for seizing “the means of production” — a direct echo of Karl Marx. His campaign team includes Cea Weaver, a housing activist with reported ties to the Communist Party USA. He’s also said he doesn’t believe billionaires should exist.

Those aren’t mainstream Democratic ideas — they’re hardline Marxist beliefs wrapped in progressive buzzwords like “equity” and “affordability.”

Trump’s comments have drawn a clear battle line: voters can choose between fiscal sanity and socialist chaos. The image of a Mamdani-led New York marching into Washington to beg for funding while demanding to “abolish billionaires” sums up the absurdity of modern left-wing politics.

And Trump’s answer leaves no room for doubt. If the city elects a self-proclaimed Marxist, federal money will dry up overnight.

New Yorkers now face a stark choice — keep the city afloat under a more moderate hand, or gamble everything on a radical ideology that’s already failed around the world.

Come Election Day, Trump’s words will be echoing in the back of every voter’s mind: America doesn’t bankroll communism.
